Sciatic Nerve Pain Blog

I have piriformis syndrome,diagnosed two weeks ago and it’s not improving, the dr says give it time. Does anyone have tried and true remedies for relief? Any ideas welcomed.

My friend (male 37) has been in pain for a few months now with sciatica. His doctor doesn’t seem to be able to help. Please help us!!!

If any body has done cert 2 in vet nursing, that would be a huge help!

I’m doing Physical Therapy , I’m om my 2nd session, but because the results are slower than I thought, I lost my faith. Is the chiropratics better than the physical therapy?? Can I do both of them at the same time?? What can I do more to help myself?? I’m desperate, I have no balance whatsoever, the pain travel throught my legs, go down to my knees, is even on the foot. And then, I went to a neurologist to see this back pain and he told me that I have MS. It is so frustrating , I don’t know on what I can believe anymore!

My mate is experiencing pain from his hip down to his calf. We have been told that it is sciatica but we have not been told any good remedies for it.

I am enduring week three of sciatic nerve spasms; the spastic pain that stops you in your tracks. What, if anything truly works to loosen such a large nerve? I am physically active at work and drink a lot of water and tea.

I can not take any medicine to relieve the pain, is there anything else I can do to ease the pain?

And are there any homeopathic remedies?

I’ve been having this numbness in my front leg for quite some time. It gets worse when I am in a sitting or standing position. Could I get permanent nerve damage from this? What should I do about this? TIA for any help!

I’ve been being told that I have sciatica and I have no clue what it is. Can somebody PLEASE tell me what this is? I know it’s a nerve that runs down your leg, but why is it tingling? Like, it tingles every time I lay down on my left side and its never done that before. What is it? Why does it tingle when its never done it before?
