Start walking every night for about 30 mins. also stop lifting heavy people at work that cause your back so much stress (ask your co-workers to help you). Last but not least when you come to Florida I will do all the work

Some of my patients have responded to sciatic nerve blocks which is a small amount of lidocaine mixed with steroid and injected into the area. A neurologist or spine expert would be able to do this for you.
Stretching exercises help as does lying on your back with your feet up on a chair. Doing this for about 20min at a time will help the weight of your legs to push the pelvis back in alignment.
    Good luck!

Well, i know that strenghtning your back muscles can help support the spine since its likely some area is compressing on the sciatic nerve…
to relieve the pain, it is helpful to pay down in a fetal position or put legs on pillows like you’re sitting so it strettches out the vertabra and can ehlp relieve pressure on the low back and sciatica…. thats what a doctor told me to do to help my sciatica…
also stretching the painful leg up which also releaves the low back of the tension can help too….
other than that PT can help in teaching you exercises to help strengthen the weakend areas..
i find icing and the pillows helps me a lot as well as swimming…
