I have a sciatic nerve problem and all the usual symtoms are there and have treating with accupucture! I want to know what kind of useful stretches I can do to alleviate the constant pain! obviously butt area,thigh,hip knee, numbness,nausea,etc

I have a Pinched Sciatic Nerve, I went to the doctor and the meds I got aren’t helping. The pain in my leg is overwhelming, what can I do?

I have been suffering from suspected Sciatica for years and was finally sent for an MRI scan of the lover back after which I have been recalled for a brain scan. They said it is something I will have been born with and can be treated. I have leg pain, back pain, numbness, involuntary muscle movement, minor deafness, vertigo, balance issues, bad eyesight. What do you think they suspect?

I have been in great dicomfort with my sciatic nerve but would also like to do situps to get rid of my stomach any suggestions?

I recently suffered through a sciatic problem which lasted for over two weeks. I was in terrible pain, but the doctor only prescribed anti-inflammatory pills and sent me to physio. The pain was around lumbar 4 but went all the way to my toes. I did recover…slowly, but if it happens again is there something that I can do so I don’t miss so much time at work? A faster healing process? I can’t afford to go for 2 weeks without pay again.

I’ve had sciatica my whole life but there have been years between my flare ups and usually it only lasts about a week. It has now been two weeks and it just seems to be getting worse. How long did it take anyone for theirs to subside?

I’ve been diagnosed with kidney stones. But most of my pain is in my left thigh and groin. Is this unusual or from some other cause than the kidney or ureter’s swelling pushing against or pinching the sciatic nerve?

I suddenly felt a sharp pain running down my right leg, which I believe is sciatic nerve pain. I play tennis for about three hours a day and run for one hour. My activity level could account for the shooting pain; however, no time soon will I be able to cut down on my exercise. I have been trying swimming however would like faster results as I normally spend 30 minutes doing cardio(15 mins on treadmill and 15 minutes on the cross trainer), I do do weights as well (machines) however this is not irritating my back for some reason Thanks all :0)

The sciatic nerve is the nerve that runs from the lower back of the waist thru to the back of the leg. in some people it causes so much discomfort and pain and cant be seen thru an xray. However it is not common and little is known about it.
