I have ongoing back issues with documented sciatic. Does RLS happen because of sciatic nerve damage?

I am 19 weeks and have been diagnosed with Sciatica. I am in so much pain all the time. It doesn’t matter if I am sitting, standing or laying, I get no comfort. My doctor just keeps saying “Give it time, or it should go away on its own”. Pregnancy is supposed to be enjoyable and I am in so much pain that I don’t want to be pregnant and I hate that I feel this way. Any suggestions?

I was operated on for a Abdominial Aorta Aneurysm. The Dr. damaged the sciatic nerve. How can this be repaired?

I’m not entirely sure this is sciatic nerve pain as the pain does not go down my leg. It is in my left buttocks and the left side of my calf but does not radiate down my leg.

I believe I have a sciatica. My massage therapist told me I was at risk for getting it and now it has happened. I have lower back pain shooting down my leg. Has anyone had to deal with this, and how can you help the pain at home?

For about 2 years now I have been having problems with my sciatic nerve on the left side of my back and it tends to travel into my hip and left leg. Is there any particular exercise that wold help this problem?

A friend of mine had what is called a vertebrae plasti, to repair fractured lower vertebrae. It appears that the procedure was successful, but something else happenedd afterward. Could the sciatic nerve have been pinched or compressed diring the procedure, causing intense pain, to the point of not being able to plant her feet.

Every morning when I wake up I can hardly walk because of my sciatica nerve. It takes me about 2-3 hours to be able to actually stand up straight in the morning after I wake up. There has to be something I can do in order to excersise this nerve. Any tips or advice would be helpful thank you very much!

I am getting a pain on my left side. Starts around my hip and down to my toes.
My toes tingle every once in awhile and I can’t sleep on my left side.. or sit too long.
Is this from the sciatic nerve you think?

I just got off the phone with a telenurse she figures I have sciatica. She gave me some advice just wondeing if anyone else has experienced this and what they did to relieve the pain. Also if it affects labor and delivery?
