How does a physician treat a sciatic nerve? What can you do at home to help treat yourself? I’ll return for what I feel is the best answer. Thanks & have a good night. :0)

I have had pain extending from my lower back all the way down through my left leg for a while now. I researched a little on the internet and think I might have a pinched sciatic nerve, or a herniated disk.

I am 24 weeks pregnant and having sciatic nerve pain. I had it with my first pregnancy as well and know how much worse its going to get! I need some at-home type remedies, as I just can’t afford to see a chiropractor.

I have bad sciatica pain I believe I got from carrying my baby and breastfeeding in bad positions. What is the best way to treat sciatica?

My child who is a year and eleven months old now was given a fancidar injection in his buttock of the right leg last February. It seems that injection injured the sciatic nerve or some kind of nerve, and since then he has to drag his right leg when he walks. Though he has been receiving some physiotherapic treatment it appears the response is not as it should be, hence my question: How best is it to treat sciatic nerve injury in children?

I pinched a nerve in my lower back about 3 weeks ago. Went to the chiropractor, which did not help at all and saw a orthopedic doctor recently. He said it was my sciatic nerve. It it not my lower back that bothers me, the cramping in my right buttock, thigh and lower leg is aweful. He gave me some medication, but it still has not gotten any better. Did anyone experience sciatica? Do you have any advise for me?

I have a shooting like pain down one side of my lower back which runs down towards my buttocks.
I am unable to bend due to this pain. And when i do, its really painful.
Does it sound like sciatica? Or just normal back pain?

I have been to therapy but it isn’t helping. I have a herniated disk and arthritis in my back. I know the herniated disk is making my sciatic nerve act up. What is a good way to eleviate the pain?

Leave is not an issue with me, I am temping at my job so I can leave whenever, but how long could all of you out there with sciatic work until?

I have sciatica down my left side, it hurts like hell!!! need some remedies for it, not into taking prescription drugs, so any other ideas? it radiates into my *** and then shoots into the top of my leg and calf. :( Anyone had this?
