What Do You Do For Sciatic Nerve Pain?

I’m not entirely sure this is sciatic nerve pain as the pain does not go down my leg. It is in my left buttocks and the left side of my calf but does not radiate down my leg.

I developed a bulging disc between lumbar 4 and 5 after doing too much running. This created sciatic nerve pain. Here’s what I did based on research:
    1) Do lunges. A picture of a lunge is at the bottom of this site:http://www.halhigdon.com/15Ktraining/Str...
    2) My chiropractor recommended taking daily doses of 100 mg. of Vitamin B6. This strengthens nerves. I noticed an improvement in 4 to 6 weeks.
    3) Your symptoms sound like piriformis muscle impingement. If so, there are exercises specifically for this condition that are available on the web.
    4) The following are more expensive but I decided to pay for them since I thought it may benefit me in the long run. I bought an inversion table from the Teeter Company http://www.teeterhangups.com/products/f5...
which is great for spine decompression. I also bought the nerve rebuilder which allows you to apply an electrical stimulation to the effected area. In my case, to the left and right of the spine area located a little below the waist. It really makes you feel great. But you’ll have to decide how much money you feel you want to spend in the long run.http://www.rebuildermedical.com/

Sounds like it, does not have to go right down you leg, it differs from time to time. Only thing is to take anti inflammatorys and pain killers and keep moving around
