What Kind Of Excercises Can I Do To Relieve The Pain Caused By A Pinched Sciatic Nerve?

I have had pain extending from my lower back all the way down through my left leg for a while now. I researched a little on the internet and think I might have a pinched sciatic nerve, or a herniated disk.

Avoid bending forward at the waist while sitting, when lifting anything from a lower level, lower and raise yourself using your knees
Keep hips in line with your shoulders and both feet on the ground and slightly apart keeping them within the width of your hips
    Don’t cross your legs
Use common ergonomic strategies for everything you do
Don’t lock your knees when you stand
If standing for long periods of time, find something you can elevate one foot on at least 4-6 inches high, then alternate every 15 min.
If sitting for long periods of time, break it up by standing for a few minutes, even if you’re driving and have to pull over
Never bend forward to stand up, always scoot to the edge and stand using your legs to lift you
Support your lower back when sitting and sleeping
Don’t twist while working, face the area straight on before performing any action, this includes sitting at a desk, use the wheels to turn the chair, don’t swivel- twisting your waist.

You don’t exercise it. When I had it , the Dr told me to rest it. It took about 2 months for it to calm down. I thought it was never going to go away. Good luck , oh try warm baths
